The regulator has been focused on the suitability of investments for retail clients for many years. As a result, it is a key priority for advisers who recommend investment products to retail clients and for the senior managers of their firms. This module provides an understanding of how to assess the suitability of an investment for a retail client, how to assess the client’s risk appetite and carry out risk profiling, along with methods of identifying suitable questions and answers in order to gather accurate client information.
